Infinity pool builders have a QBCC (Builder Restricted to Swimming Pool Construction) license & insurance for each construction. When building a concrete swimming pool the site profile must be accurate to ensure that the alignment of the construction is correct.
The steel reinforcement is generally soft steel which is easy to shape into the form of the pool on-site. An engineer will give a custom design for the inground concrete structure before it is poured.
The concrete or “cement” is a specific blend that is easy to free form allowing the concrete cutters to shape even stairs, without form work. After the shell of the pool has been poured it is important to leave the structure to cure for 4 weeks as a minimum. This ensures that the tiles and the tile bands form a strong adhesion to the surface of the pool. Finishes can include pebble Crete, stone & glass or mosaic tiles depending on your budget.
